National Finalists in the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards!

We have some more very exciting news to share! Uncanny Animals has been named a national finalist in the Pet Care category of the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

This one feels particularly special. These awards recognise women in small businesses from across Australia, so to see our colourful little Yarraville pet grooming salon represented on a national stage is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Uncanny Animals has grown and changed a lot over the years, but what sits behind it has always stayed the same: a huge love of animals, an amazing team, a lot of hard work, and a belief that pet grooming can always be kinder, more thoughtful and continue to evolve. To have what we do recognised nationally, alongside so many incredible women and small businesses from around Australia, means a lot.

The winners will be announced at the National Presentation Evening in Sydney in September, and whatever happens on the night, being named a national finalist is already something we’re incredibly proud of.
