LOCATION: 69 Andeson Street, Yarraville, Vic (Inner-West Melbourne)

HOURS: 8-4pm Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

PAY: Pay based on Renumeration. We are able to transparently discuss the rate upon application and observing skill level.

SUPPLIES: All equipment is supplied for groomers (including scissors, blades, dyes, products.) Unless you wish to use your own.

GROOMING SKILLS

• Ability to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to groom with extension combs and scissor work e.g. "teddy bear" style
• Ability to do traditional styling on common breeds e.g. Schnauzer, Westie etc.
• Uses gentle, considered and safe handling techniques 
• Knows how to de-mat painlessly, fluff dry and line brush
• We have a full time receptionist so there is only a small amount of customer interaction in this role however, friendly interaction with customers is a requirement.

BONUS POINTS

The following are not required but people with these skills makes us excited!

• Knows how to groom to the breed standard on a large number of dogs.
• Can hand-strip
• High quality hand scissor work
• Knows how to "create content" for social media. This can be as simple as taking nice photos, creating reels, or having a digitally creative flare.
• Any extra qualifications or courses completed e.g. fear-free training, workshops, certificates
• Extra bonus points if you can groom cats!
