Originally from Colombia, Mel brought her talents all the way to Australia! So if you’d prefer to do your pet’s check-in in Spanish, Mel is more than happy to help.

Before finding her way into the grooming world, Mel was a Biomedical Engineer (smartie pants!) She now brings that same scientific curiosity, precision and problem-solving to grooming, with a particular interest in understanding the science behind coat and skin care, shampoos and the grooming products.

Mel completed her professional grooming training here in Australia through Dog Diversity Grooming School and iGroomHub, and has also completed Medic Pet First Aid training.

You’ll regularly find Mel grooming dogs that are literally bigger than she is! Mel's contagiously happy personality and gentle way about her, means every pet that lands on her grooming table absolutely adores her.
