Annie Achieves International Cat Grooming Certification (with Near-Perfect Scores!)
We’re incredibly proud to share a milestone moment for Uncanny Animals... Annie is now an Internationally Certified Cat Groomer!
Even more impressively, Annie achieved a 100% score on her Practical Exam and 99% on her Written Exam to earn her certification. These results reflect not just technical ability, but a deep commitment to precision, care, and ongoing professional development.
A Year of Growth, Learning & Raising Standards
This certification didn’t happen overnight.
Since the start of the year Annie has been in full study mode; She's been refining techniques, expanding knowledge, and investing heavily in education to continue raising the standard of grooming for all pets who come through our doors.
At Uncanny Animals, we believe grooming should always prioritise the wellbeing of the animal. Annie’s work has long been grounded in gentle, fear-free handling, so it’s especially rewarding to see this recognised so strongly in her practical exam results and assessor feedback.
Recognised on a Global Level
Annie’s certification is awarded through International Professional Groomers, Inc. (IPG), an organisation recognised worldwide for setting and maintaining high professional standards in the grooming industry.
The certification is also endorsed by The International Cat Association (TICA), the world’s largest genetic registry of pedigreed cats and household pets, and a leading authority on breed standards and feline excellence.
