Christmas Season Important Information

Christmas Season Important Information

It's Christmas Season! Or as groomer's call it... Silly Season! Our busiest time of year. We have put together this important information to help you avoid any potential disappointment. Please read it thoroughly so there are no surprises!

Arriving on Time

We ask that you arrive 15mins before your appointment. This gives you time to check in your pet, run through the groom and have questions answered. Your appointment time is when the groom starts, not when you should arrive. If you arrive 15mins into the appointment time, the groom can be cancelled and fees apply. At this time of year we are fully booked and do not have the flexibility in our schedule to accomodate lateness. Under no circumstances will we push animals to “squeeze in” appointments either. So please plan to arrive early.

Cancelled and Missed Appointments

Our bookings are incredibly full so we wanted to make sure you understood that cancelling, missing your appointment or trying to reschedule your appointment means there’s a very good chance you may not get back in. Please also remember we have a cancellation policy you can read here (see "pricing.")

Groom Times might be Longer than usual

Not only are we fully booked at this time of year, but many animals that only get groomed once or twice a year come in. This often means animals that are matted and/or are not desensitised to grooming taking longer to groom. Because of this, groom times might be exceeded. We want you to know not to worry if things are taking longer, and to account for more time for appointments. All cats must allow for a minimum of 2 hours per cat.

Changing You Pet's Service

Please be sure to check what service you have booked in. We can not upgrade services (e.g. wanting a full groom when only a bath & tidy is booked, or cats wanting a lion cut when they have only booked a wash & dry.) Upgraded services take more time and we do not have this extra time in the schedule. Also remember that matted animals need a full groom service, not just a Bath & Tidy or Wash & Dry. If you would like to change the service of your booking, please call our reception to work something out.

Cats must come in carriers, dogs must come on leash

We can have a large amount of pets in our reception at this time of year. It is paramount to safety that animals are secured appropriately and avoid any interaction with other pets as some animals can be quite overwhelmed even if your's is not.

Treat our staff with respect

Our team is working hard to make your’s and your pet’s experience a pleasant one. Abusive, rude and threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. We understand many people can experience more stress at this time of year, but our staff’s welfare is non-negotiable.

Thank you everyone! We are excited to see your beautiful pets and have them feeling fresh and fabulous for the holidays!
